The Open Archive is a public, Creative Commons collection of concepts, frameworks and predictions from my writing. Its purpose is simple: to make useful ideas available for other people to inspect, question, reuse and carry further.

I believe we are put on this earth for one reason only: to leave it in a better state than we found it. The purpose of my writing is to pass on the things I have learned in the hope that they can be useful to somebody else.
The archive begins with The Hunting Party. The book holds the ideas in their original context, alongside observation, uncertainty and personal experience. This archive draws out the parts that can travel: ways of noticing patterns in people and systems, distinctions that make difficult situations easier to see, and predictions that can be tested against what happens next.
Each entry remains traceable to its source. It distinguishes between established material, synthesis, extension and ideas that may be genuinely new. Where an idea depends on existing evidence or a recognised concept, it links to sources so people can check the basis for themselves.
Private and personal material is deliberately left out. This is not an attempt to turn lived experience into public evidence, or to present a finished theory of everything. It is a working record of ideas that may be useful beyond the circumstances in which they first emerged.
Open Archive is intended to grow into a shared resource. If you have an idea, source, correction, counterexample or connection that could make it more useful, you can propose a contribution.
Every proposal is reviewed before it is added. The aim is to keep the archive open, useful and traceable, while making sure that new material has a clear basis and does not introduce private or confidential information.

The collection is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. You are welcome to use and adapt the material, including commercially, provided you credit me as Chris Kempt, link to the licence and indicate any changes.
This is a working archive rather than a final statement. It will change as the work develops, as ideas are challenged and as new material earns its place.
The idea for this archive was David’s. It came up in one of the most common places where good ideas turn up, as far as I am concerned: over a nice glass of wine in the sunshine with David and Margaret. I ran with it.
