Great news. Thanks to the team behind Ruffle, some of the web games we built at Kempt are playable again. Here are a few I’ve found so far.
‘Celebrity Pedigree’
Triviala came to us with a simple brief. They wanted a game that would appeal to 25–45 year old women and encourage them to join their trivia-quiz site.
We asked the obvious question: what might that audience be interested in? The answer we landed on was “celebrities and pets”, so we built a game about breeding celebrity dogs. I still have a soft spot for this one.

Big Ben Boris
Hard to believe this was 20 years ago, but in 2005, after building a satirical game about Labour, we decided to take aim in the other direction too.
The Conservative Party was in yet another leadership contest (the one David Cameron won), and Boris Johnson still felt like a running joke. We released the game, it made it onto Have I Got News For You?, and we even sold T-shirts off the back of it.

Daisy in Wonderland
Created in a couple of weeks to promote the single “Number One Enemy” by Daisy Dares You, this simple puzzle platformer expanded on the Alice in Wonderland-inspired video and drove traffic to it on YouTube, a key marketing goal at the time.

Play it at Flash Museum or check out the song on YouTube.
Hannah and the Kreludor Caves
In 2010 Neopets (by this time part of Viacom) commissioned us to create a game starring Hannah the Squirrel, set on the moon of Kreludor.
Hannah explores the caves with rocket boots and a limited supply of fuel and air. Can you find the exit before you run out? The game also features a built-in level editor, and hundreds of thousands of levels were created and shared by Neopets players.
